My uncle told me to always check the chart for wind speed limits, not just guess
He said it after I had a close call with a light swing on a job in Dallas last month. I was moving a steel beam and thought the breeze felt fine, but the chart said we were at the limit for that load radius. I listened and waited twenty minutes for it to drop... the crane next to us kept going and their load started dancing pretty bad. Has anyone else had a chart save them from a bad day?

Yeah, charts don't lie. I learned that the hard way too, back when I thought I could eyeball it. Almost turned a simple lift into a real expensive yard sale. Your uncle gave you good advice. Sticking to the numbers feels slow sometimes, but watching someone else's load swing around is all the reminder you need. That twenty minute wait probably saved you a huge headache.
