PSA: an old hand told me to never boom down without checking the radius chart first, and it saved my butt on a 240 ton pick in Houston
He said it casual like it was nothing, just "check the chart every time, no matter how many times you done it." Two weeks ago I was booming down on a rooftop HVAC swap and the load chart showed I was 6 feet past my safe radius. Anyone else got one of those throwaway tips from an old timer that turned out to be gold?
