Tried running my swing brake a little looser on a 90 ton and the load drifted more than I expected
Decided to back off the swing brake adjustment on a Link Belt 90 ton last week at a job in Gary, mostly out of habit from running smaller rigs. The boom crept about 4 feet on a light pick with a 60 foot radius, which was more drift than I wanted near the edge of the excavation. Curious what you all set yours to on the bigger machines, or do you just leave it tight and deal with the jerk.
