Appreciation post: the Target return desk in Denver saved my $85 air fryer

I compared my local Walmart return line that needs 3 different receipts and a manager override against the Target app return in Denver that scanned my barcode and refunded me in 40 seconds flat, has anyone else noticed how one store's process just feels human and the other feels like a punishment?
