Drove 45 minutes to a Home Depot for a specific dimmer switch that their website said was in stock, got there and the shelf was empty with no raincheck policy either.

Wasted a whole Saturday afternoon and $12 in gas just to stand in an empty aisle and have a kid at the service desk shrug at me, has anyone else had their local store's online stock system just straight up lie to them?

Man that sucks. My buddy drove to a Lowes once for a specific toilet seat and ended up finding the wrong model in the wrong box, someone just swapped them out and left it on the shelf.

Hate that for you. Can't believe they had the wrong box, that's just lazy and dishonest all at once. Some people really have no consideration for others.
