Heads up on that extended warranty from Best Buy I almost skipped
I nearly talked myself out of the $79 extended warranty on my laptop back in March. Three weeks ago the charging port stopped working altogether and I figured I was sunk. Best Buy fixed it in 2 days with no questions asked at the store in Tempe. Has anyone else actually had a good experience with one of those warranties or was I just lucky?

Got the same warranty on my TV and they replaced the whole thing when the screen went dark.

Wow, that actually makes me rethink my whole stance on extended warranties. I used to think they were just a cash grab, especially for electronics. But hearing that they replaced your whole TV when the screen went dark does sound pretty solid. Maybe I was too quick to judge. Did you have to fight with them at all to get the replacement, or was it pretty smooth?
