I watched a cashier at a Target in Dayton get chewed out over a coupon that expired 2 days ago
Stopped at the Target on Miamisburg Centerville Rd in Dayton on my lunch break to grab some toothpaste. Guy in front of me had a $3 off coupon that had expired 2 days before. The cashier, a young kid, told him nicely it would not scan. The guy went off on him for a solid 4 minutes, loud enough that the self checkout lady stopped and stared. The kid just stood there and kept apologizing even though he did nothing wrong. Do managers actually back up employees in these moments or do they just hand over the discount to make it go away?
