My internet outage ticket sat open for 17 days

My home internet went down and the first tech said it was an outside line issue... that was a Tuesday. They scheduled a crew for "within 72 hours." I called back after a week, and they said the ticket was still pending. I finally got a supervisor on day 12 who found the ticket was just stuck in their system. A real crew came out on day 17 and fixed a cut cable in 20 minutes. Has anyone else had a simple fix get lost like that for weeks?

Seems like a stretch to me. People handle way worse all the time.

Honestly felt the same way at first. Then I had to do it myself and wow, it really wears you down. Changes your whole view on it.
