My package got delivered to the wrong house in Denver and the tracking just said 'delivered'
I called the local post office and the supervisor actually drove out, found it on a neighbor's porch, and brought it to my door himself. Has a company ever gone that far to fix a simple mistake for you?

That supervisor deserves a medal. I've noticed a real split in service lately. Big companies hide behind automated phone trees while small local shops will bend over backwards. My local hardware store once opened after hours because I locked my keys in the car. It feels like the scale of a business directly impacts how much they care about fixing a problem.

Wasn't there a story a while back about a pizza place that drove a replacement order like fifty miles after their own driver messed up the address? It really does seem like the bigger the company gets, the more they treat customers like account numbers. That local supervisor probably knows he'll see you around the neighborhood, so there's actual accountability. Once a business gets too big, that personal connection just vanishes and you're stuck talking to a robot.
