Rant: The appliance delivery guys left my new refrigerator blocking my garage door in Portland last Tuesday.
After they drove off, I called the store's customer service line, calmly explained the situation, and a manager had a different crew back out within two hours to properly move it into my kitchen, which was a huge relief.

Totally agree with ben on this one, the first crew just treating it like no big deal is the craziest part. I mean, think about it: these guys are supposed to deliver and install appliances every single day, so leaving a fridge blocking a garage door isn't just a simple mistake, it shows a complete lack of basic common sense. You have to wonder if they even looked at the work order or just unloaded the truck and drove off. The store fixing it in two hours actually makes me think the first guys might have been a subcontracted crew or something, because a real trained team wouldn't have pulled that. It's like the store's manager knew exactly how bad that looked and moved heaven and earth to get a proper crew out there to fix it. Still, two hours is a long time when your car is trapped in the garage and you're just standing there staring at a fridge.

Did they even give you a reason why they left it like that? Two hours is a decent fix but that's such a weird, careless move to begin with. Makes you wonder what the first crew's job even was. Glad the store made it right though.

Ngl @the_ben, the whole thing is just wild to me. They didn't give any reason at all, just acted like it was normal. How do you forget to finish the main part of the job? Makes you wonder if the first guys were even trained. Two hours to fix it just shows how bad the first try was.
