That time I returned a ladder to Home Depot after 11 months

I had this 6-foot fiberglass ladder sitting in my garage for almost a year because I only used it twice and felt guilty keeping it. When I finally brought it back, the customer service guy just scanned it and handed me store credit without even looking at the receipt. I was standing there confused and asked if he needed to check anything. He said, "Sir, we take back anything with a smile." I walked out realizing I could have done that months ago instead of staring at that ladder every Sunday.
