The $38 return shipping fee that taught me to read fine print

Bought a desk chair online that listed free returns, but when I went to send it back the label cost $38 because the 'free' part only applied to store credit, not refunds. The chair itself was fine, just too small for my frame, and the customer service rep confirmed the policy was buried on page 4 of the FAQ. Anyone else get burned by a shipping fee that wasn't obvious until checkout?

Yeah same thing happened with a toaster once... still using it though.
