Unpopular opinion: I almost hung up on my insurance company's callback because I thought it was a scam
My car got hit in a parking lot in Boise back in April and I filed a claim expecting the usual runaround. A week later I got a call saying they had found the other driver's policy and would cover my $500 deductible, which sounded exactly like the fake calls my dad keeps getting. The rep stayed on the line while I pulled up my claim number and walked me through every line of the paperwork before I believed her. It took 22 minutes but the check actually showed up 4 days later. Has anyone else gotten a real call from a company that sounded too good to be true?
