Am I the only one who thinks password managers are overrated?

My work email got hacked last month because I left my password manager open on a shared computer at a coffee shop downtown. Someone just walked up and copied my saved passwords while I was getting my drink. Now I'm back to writing them on paper and keeping it in my wallet.

Whoa wait, someone just copied your passwords while you were grabbing coffee? That's crazy, I never thought about that happening with a password manager left open.

My coworker once left his password manager open and someone "borrowed" his Netflix login. By borrowed I mean they changed the password and locked him out for a week. He sat through that movie night with us just staring at the login screen like it was a horror film. Now he takes his laptop to the bathroom with him. That's the level of paranoia this stuff causes.
