Can we talk about the day my bank sent me a real fraud alert and I almost clicked the fake one two hours later?
Last Tuesday my phone buzzed at 6:40am with a text saying my debit card was locked, and I clicked the link without thinking, but something felt off when it asked for my full SSN, so I hung up and called the number on my card instead, and turns out the real bank had flagged a $2.17 charge in Ohio while I was asleep in Phoenix, and the text was a phishing copy of their actual alert, so how do you all tell the real warning from the fake one when they hit back to back?
