Dropped $180 on a password manager, still got phished last week

I finally bit the bullet and bought a yearly subscription to one of those big password managers after my old setup was just reuse the same 3 passwords everywhere. Thought I was being smart, set up 2FA on everything, even deleted my saved browser logins. Then last Tuesday I get an email that looks exactly like my bank's alert about a suspicious login, and I clicked the link without checking the domain. Entered my master password right into a fake site, and boom, they got into my vault. The manager itself did what it was supposed to do, but I was the weak link the whole time. Cost me $180 for the year, but it's the human error that burned me, not the software. Anyone else had a close call where the tool was fine but your own brain betrayed you?
