Dropped $30 on a password generator and it already saved me from a headache

Ngl I was skeptical at first. My buddy kept pushing this hardware key that creates random passwords offline, no cloud sync. Cost me $30 at a local tech shop last month. Set it up for my email and bank accounts, figured it was worth a shot. Then yesterday I got a login alert from an old forum I forgot to delete. The key made a totally unique password so nothing else got compromised. Has anyone else tried those offline password tools instead of the big apps?

$30 is cheaper than a divorce lawyer when your bank account gets drained, so that seems like a win to me. I just use a notebook full of scribbles, but hey, to each their own.

That $30 software would have caught it way sooner, before he had to borrow from his parents to cover the gap. It's not just about tracking, it's about seeing the patterns early and fixing them before they become a big problem. Now I get why people pay for it, even if I'm still too lazy to switch myself.
