Finally caved and started using a password manager after my work laptop got hit with malware last Tuesday.

Watching our IT guy spend 6 hours cleaning up a keylogger that got in through a reused password from a forum I signed up for in 2018 finally made me dump my sticky note system for Bitwarden, anyone else hold out way too long on this?

@joel_young I can relate to that dog thing, mine once unplugged my external drive mid-backup. But yeah, the reused password from a forum in 2018 hit hard. I had the same wake up call when I realized my Netflix password was also my work email password. Bitwarden made it painless to swap everything over in an afternoon. Took me way too long to get on board but now I dont worry about that stuff anymore.

The Bitwarden thing is solid. I switched after my dog walked across my keyboard and somehow locked me out of my email.

Took me forever too but now I actually feel kind of relieved not having to remember 50 different passwords.
