Hot take: password managers are a single point of failure and I'm tired of pretending they're not

Last month my buddy in Austin got his Bitwarden vault compromised because some sketchy extension grabbed his master password. 3 years of saved logins gone in one afternoon. I still use 1Password but I keep a physical notebook with my most critical passwords locked in a fire safe at home in Denver. Am I crazy for not trusting the cloud with everything?

Man, that's rough. I had a buddy who did the same thing with his LastPass, had to call his bank from his bathroom floor because he couldn't even get into his email.

That "A single point of failure" thing ignores that you also have to protect your physical notebook though.
