My dad's old password notebook taught me more than any course ever did

I was cleaning out his office last month after he passed and found this spiral notebook with passwords written in pen... dates going back to like 2003. He had a system with codes and abbreviations that I still can't crack some of them. Made me realize how far we've come from writing stuff on paper to all these password managers now. Kinda makes me wonder, do any of you still keep a physical backup somewhere or is everyone all digital now?

Man I don't know, people act like paper passwords are this deep thing but it's just an old notebook.

Pretty soon someone's gonna write a whole self-help book called "The Paper Password Method" and sell it for 30 bucks. Probably include a fancy notebook with a leather cover and a little pen holder too. Idk, next thing you know people will be posting aesthetic pictures of their password notebooks on Instagram with mood lighting and a coffee cup next to it. Meanwhile mine's just a spiral notebook with coffee stains and doodles in the margins.
