My password manager laughed at me over a 2013 breach
I was cleaning up old accounts last night and my manager flagged a login from a site I forgot existed. Turns out my email was in a breach back in 2013 and the password was literally 'sunshine1'. I laughed, then realized I reused it on three other accounts. Anyone else found embarrassing old passwords this way?

sunshine1" hits different when you realize how many people probably had that exact same password back then. But here's the thing nobody talks about, we all treated the internet like a giant toy box in 2013. Every silly site asked for an email and a password and we just gave them the same one every time. It's not really about the old password being embarrassing, it's that we never learned basic password hygiene until something actually bit us. That's the whole cycle, we ignore warnings until we're the cautionary tale. At least you caught it now instead of after someone drained your bank account.
