My roofing biz almost got hit, now I push two factor hard

I own a small roofing company. We handle customer details every day. A similar business got hacked recently. Their email was wide open with no extra login step. They faced a real mess with lost info. Now I enforce two factor on all our accounts. It is simple and cuts the risk big time.

That's a smart move seeing a close call like that up the road. Getting everyone on board with two factor can be a hassle at first though. Did you run into any pushback from your crew when you set it up, like complaints about it being a pain to log in? Finding a method that works for the whole team seems like the hardest part.

Had some grumbling at first about the extra step... we set it up with an app they all had on their phones. Now it's just part of the routine.

Saw a report that said most small business hacks start with a simple email breach. That extra login step really does shut that down fast. It's annoying until it saves your whole operation.
