Password managers are not as safe as everyone thinks

I used LastPass for about 3 years until I read their breach report from 2022. Turns out even encrypted vaults can be stolen and cracked offline if your master password is weak. I switched to writing my logins in a physical notebook stored in a fire safe at home. It takes longer to log in but I haven't had a single scare since. Has anyone else gone back to offline methods?

Got a buddy who did the notebook thing. Left it on his coffee table by accident. Wife tossed it in recycling with other old papers. Gone forever. He spent a week resetting every account he had.

Yikes, paper and fire is way more risky than you think.
