Saw someone log into their bank account on a public library computer last week

I was at the main branch downtown and this guy just typed his password right out in the open while I was waiting for a terminal. Has anyone else noticed how careless people get with sensitive info in places like coffee shops or libraries?

I just started using a password manager on my phone and it made a huge difference. Now I copy and paste my logins instead of typing them out, so nobody can shoulder surf. Also got into the habit of tilting my screen away from people, even at home. Takes like two seconds but saves a ton of stress later. The library guy probably had no clue someone was watching, but that's exactly the kind of thing that gets accounts drained.

Absolutely feel you @jamie794. I caught myself last week typing my email password out loud in a coffee shop like some kind of security crime spree, so I'm definitely the guy they warn you about in those pamphlets. Password managers are a lifesaver, especially since my go-to trick used to be writing everything on a sticky note under my keyboard - real genius move. Tilting the screen is smart, I do it too, but I still manage to flash my bank balance at strangers by accident when I open the wrong app first. Better to look paranoid than broke, that's my new motto.
