That $200 password manager subscription I paid for 2 years upfront

Thought I was being smart. Paid $200 for a 2 year subscription to some fancy password manager. Now six months in and they changed their whole pricing model. Free features moved to a premium tier. I'm stuck with a slow, bloated app. Anyone else get burned by a long term security subscription?

Got burned same way with a "lifetime" VPN deal that turned into a yearly fee after a year.

Did they atleast let you keep the old rate for a while? I had a "lifetime" cloud storage thing that switched to a subscription after 18 months, and when I complained they said the terms changed in the fine print. Now I just assume anything labeled lifetime is probably good for like 2 years tops if youre lucky.
