The password manager my coworker pushed finally clicked for me

My coworker Dana kept telling me to stop reusing passwords after our work email got hit in that 2022 breach. I ignored her for months because I figured remembering 14 passwords was fine. Last week I finally switched to Bitwarden and imported everything, took maybe an hour on a Sunday. It feels like a small win but now I actually sleep better knowing my bank login isnt the same as my forum accounts. Has anyone else had that moment where the advice you kept ignoring ended up being the obvious fix?

Hold off on drinking that Kool-Aid. Every password manager is one bad update or server hack away from locking you out of everything at the worst possible time, and that 2022 breach probably wasn't even your fault anyway. I've seen people lose access to years of accounts because a manager glitched or they forgot one master password, so the old way of writing stuff down on paper might be more reliable than you think.
