TIL most password managers are overkill for regular people
Last month I helped my mom set up her accounts after she got locked out of her email for the third time. Everyone online says you need a paid manager with all these features. But I just wrote down her passwords in a notebook and had her keep it in her desk drawer. She hasn't lost access once since then. Has anyone else found simpler methods work better than all the fancy apps?

Wait, you just wrote them down in a notebook? Like a physical book with paper? That's insane to me. I've got like 40 different logins for all my random websites and apps. No way my handwriting is neat enough for that.

Oh man, I feel this so hard lol. My handwriting is basically a doctor's note so my password notebook is just chaos with a bunch of sticky notes falling out of it.
