Update: my bank called about a $3.99 charge and it saved me $600
Got a text from my bank in Tulsa on Tuesday about a tiny charge at a gas station I've never been to, and it turned out someone had my card number from a sketchy site I used months ago. I froze the card in about 2 minutes through the app and they caught two more fake charges before they went through, so I only lost the $3.99. Does anyone else set up those instant spend alerts for every single charge, or is that overkill?
