My wife told me my 'helpful' advice on her painting project was actually criticism
Tbh I always thought I was being supportive by pointing out brush strokes and color mismatches while she was painting our living room last weekend. She finally snapped and said 'I don't need a critique, I need a partner who hands me a beer and says it looks great.' How do you guys balance giving real feedback with just letting your partner do their thing?
