Spent $40 on a 'smart' water bottle and it just yelled at me all day.

I bought this Bluetooth water bottle that tracks your sips and glows when you need to drink. First day at work, it started flashing red every 10 minutes until I took a sip, which got real annoying during a meeting. Cost me $40 on Amazon and I gave up after three days because I felt bullied by a cup. Has anyone else tried a gadget that ended up bossing you around instead of helping?

Gotta disagree with you here... I actually kinda like having my stuff nag me. Keeps me honest when I'd totally forget to drink water otherwise.

Same here, my water bottle alarm is the only reason I stay hydrated.
