Bought a $40 spaghetti strainer that fell apart in a month

I mean, I know it sounds dumb, but I saw this shape-shifting strainer at a kitchen store in Denver and thought it was genius. First use, the silicone handle peeled right off while I was draining pasta, and now I'm back to using my old colander. Anyone else fall for those infomercial-style gadgets that look cool but just break?
