Drove 30 minutes to the big box store for grout, then tried the little tile place on 5th, and now I feel dumb
I needed grout for a bathroom job in Beaverton and figured the huge store would have everything. Spent 30 minutes walking aisles while two employees argued about whose department it was, then grabbed a bag that turned out to be the wrong shade. The next day I went to a small tile shop on 5th and the guy matched my sample in 2 minutes and threw in a sponge. Should I just stop going to the big stores for anything job related, or is it only worth it for certain stuff?
