Finally got my morning routine down to a smooth 20 minutes
I used to spend almost an hour just fumbling around, making coffee, and trying to decide what to wear (it was a mess). About three months ago, I started laying my clothes out the night before and setting up the coffee maker on a timer. The change happened because I was late to meet a client twice in one week, which was super embarrassing. Now my mornings are calm and I actually get to eat breakfast. Has anyone else found a small switch that fixed a chaotic part of their day?

My morning coffee timer and @elliot_murray's key bowl are lifesavers for us easily distracted people.

Totally agree. I started leaving my work badge right on top of my shoes so I literally can't leave without seeing it. Those little habits fix so much.
