I finally asked my barber's opinion on my routine instead of guessing

My barber at Joe's Cuts in Austin said I was shampooing too often after I mentioned my scalp felt tight, and switching to every other day for 3 weeks fixed it without any fancy products, has anyone else gotten better advice from a pro than from online guides?
