Question about skipping the stretch after a morning run
I overheard a guy at the gym say stretching is pointless and he logged 30 miles last week without a single injury. Makes me wonder if I’ve been wasting 10 minutes every morning. Anyone else ditch stretching and regret it or feel fine?

Wait, what kind of miles was he talking about though? Like were those easy jog miles where he was basically crawling or was he actually pushing it and still skipping the stretch?

Man that's a good point and honestly the answer matters a lot. Easy jogging miles where you're barely breaking a sweat? Big difference from tempo runs where your legs are trashed. Either way not stretching is a bad move but I've definitely been guilty of it myself when I was younger and dumber about running.
