Trying to decide if I should keep my old paper planner or finally switch to a phone calendar app
Honestly, I've been using the same leather-bound paper planner for like eight years. It's got coffee stains and the binding is coming loose, but I love flipping through the pages. Last month, my phone kept buzzing with reminders about a dentist appointment I'd already written down, and I got so annoyed I almost threw the thing. The choice was basically stick with what I know works, or try to go fully digital and hope I don't miss anything. I picked the app, mostly because my partner kept sending me invites for stuff and it was getting confusing. Ngl, the first week was rough. I missed paying a water bill because I forgot to set a notification. But after about three tries, I got the hang of color-coding events and now it's weirdly okay. I still miss the feel of the paper, though. Has anyone else made this switch and found a way to make it feel less, I don't know, cold?

Oh man, that's the modern struggle right there. We're all trading little physical joys for a bit of extra convenience.

Yeah, what if you kept the paper one just for personal stuff you like to remember... like a nice dinner or a concert, and used the app for the boring must-do things. That way you get both. Kinda like what wesley_fox92 said about the little joys.
