Update: I was skeptical about meal prepping on Sundays but 6 weeks in I'm a total convert
Honestly I thought meal prepping was for like fitness influencers or people with way too much time. But after 3 weeks of spending $12 a day on lunch near my office in Austin I finally gave it a shot. I spend about 90 minutes every Sunday chopping veggies and cooking chicken thighs and rice. It saves me around $50 a week and I'm not grabbing fast food at 1pm anymore. The thing that convinced me was not having to think about what to eat when I'm already hangry. Has anyone else found a meal prep routine that actually sticks with a busy schedule?

The 90 minute Sunday prep is the sweet spot. I do the same thing with ground turkey and frozen veggie mixes and it cuts my lunch decision time down to zero.

It's funny how outsourcing tiny decisions frees up brain space for everything else.
