Why does nobody talk about how sticky notes actually helped me stay organized
I always thought sticky notes were just clutter on a desk, but after 3 weeks of using them to write down one task per note and sticking them on my monitor, I actually finished my to-do list every single day. The trick was that seeing them physically forced me to deal with each one instead of ignoring a digital list. Has anyone else found a simple paper system that worked better than their phone apps?

Stick with the physical system but take it one step further. I started using a cheap corkboard and pushpins instead of my monitor. Something about having a dedicated space for the notes made it even harder to ignore them. Plus you can rearrange the whole board when your priorities shift without losing your place. Your mileage may vary but for me the physical separation from the screen helped me focus better.

Two months in, does the corkboard still feel fresh or does it start blending into the background like a second monitor does? I'm curious about the tactile part, like physically moving the pins around definitely sounds better than dragging windows on a screen. How often are you actually rearranging things versus just looking at them?
