Hired a commercial plumber in Warren vs a handyman for my shop's grease trap and the difference knocked me out
My grease trap at my coney spot on Michigan Ave started backing up on a Friday night, so I panicked and called a handyman who quoted me $300 to snake it. He spent 2 hours poking around, said the trap was fine, and told me the smell was just old food going bad somewhere I couldn't see. Three days later it flooded the whole back room and a real commercial plumber from Warren charged $1,100 but also found a cracked baffle nobody mentioned. Turns out the handyman never even opened the thing, just ran a snake through the pipe and cashed my check. Anyone else get burned by going cheap on commercial work before you learned your lesson?
