I figured the $900 commercial pressure washing quote was a ripoff, then I watched him do my lot
Got three quotes to clean the grease and gum off the sidewalk in front of my carryout on Michigan Ave, and the $900 guy was double the cheapest one, so I almost went with the low bid. He spent 4 hours on it with a surface cleaner and a hot water unit and the concrete went from black back to gray, while the $450 guy who did my neighbor's spot just pushed the stain around and it came back in two weeks. Anybody else in Detroit find that the cheaper commercial service ends up costing you twice?
