Just passed 100 commercial HVAC service calls this year...

I was looking at my logbook last night and realized I've done 106 service calls in Detroit since January. That's way more than I thought, especially with all the downtime we had in February. Has anyone else tracked their numbers and been surprised by the total?

Man keep a spare contactor in your truck, you'll thank me later when one dies on a Saturday.

Respectfully @parker_davis41, I gotta disagree on this one. Keeping a spare contactor in your truck sounds good on paper, but in reality you're just tying up cash and space for something that might sit there for years. Contactor failure on a Saturday is a pain, sure, but how many times has it actually happened to you? More often than not, the real problem is something else like a bad capacitor or a low voltage issue that looks like a bad contactor. You're better off knowing which supply houses are open late or have a Saturday emergency window, so you can grab exactly what you need. Plus, every time you swap in a random spare, you're gambling on it being the right amp rating and coil voltage for that specific call. Just my two cents from chasing that type of headache before.
