Just realized I wasted $200 on a commercial cleaning contract that did nothing

I signed up with this cleaning crew for my office building over in Corktown back in March. They promised deep cleaning every week, but half the time they'd just show up late and run a mop over the floors real quick. After three months I noticed my vents were still caked with dust and the bathrooms never looked any different. I finally canceled last week and lost about $200 total for services I barely got. Turns out they were just subcontracting to whoever was available that day. Has anyone else dealt with a cleaning company in Detroit that actually follows through on their promises?

Bro you got burned by the same fly by night crew that hit my buddy over in Midtown. Did they give you that whole pitch about being bonded and insured before they ghosted on the mop bucket? The subcontracting thing is the real issue, they just grab whoever has a van and a spray bottle that day. Honestly I found a local spot called Clean Sweep Detroit that actually sends the same two ladies every Thursday and they scrub the vents without me having to ask.

Just wanted to mention Clean Sweep Detroit does a good job but they send out different crews sometimes, not always the same two ladies. I had them come twice last month and got a new person each time, still fine work just not the consistency you mentioned. They do show up though, so that part is solid.
