The $350 boiler inspection that saved my bacon last winter
I run a small HVAC outfit on the east side and had a commercial boiler in a 4-story office building on Gratiot that was acting up. Paid a buddy $350 to do a full combustion analysis and found a cracked heat exchanger that could have blown the whole roof off. Has anyone else had a cheap inspection turn into a major save like that?

Damn, a cracked heat exchanger that could've taken the roof off? That's wild dude. Makes you think how many small problems turn into big ones before anyone catches them.
