Watched a landlord at the Greektown building tour hand a prospect a $2,400 quote with no line items, and that changed how I bid
I was at a commercial walkthrough on Monroe Street about 6 weeks ago when the property guy handed over a sheet with one lump number and zero breakdown, and the prospect signed it right there. I do janitorial contracts in Detroit and I started itemizing everything after that, floor care, restroom restock, trash pulls, all separate lines. Any other commercial folks here itemize or just throw one flat number out there?
