That one pentest report that made me question everything at 2am

Last Tuesday I stayed up till 2am reading a 47 page pentest report from a guy named Marcus over at SecureWorks. He flagged a race condition in our auth microservice that I'd reviewed twice and thought was fine. Twenty minutes of staring at the call stack later, I saw he was completely right, and I still feel dumb about it. Anyone else get caught by a finding that seemed obvious after the fact?
