I used to laugh at the idea of cleaning injectors with an ultrasonic bath

For a long time, I thought it was just a fancy gimmick for shops to charge more. Then a guy at a meet in Boise showed me his setup, a Crest unit he got for about $400. He ran a set of dirty 6.0 Powerstroke injectors through it with some Simple Green, and the difference in the spray pattern test was night and day. I guess some of the new methods really do work better than the old ways. Has anyone else switched to ultrasonic cleaning and seen a real drop in comeback jobs?

Saw a guy try to clean a carb with an old toothbrush and some rage once. Maybe he should have just yelled at it in an ultrasonic bath instead? What's the weirdest cleaning hack you've seen someone swear by?
