Old way vs. new way on injector pop testing

I used to just listen for a consistent spray pattern on injectors and call it good. But last year I finally bought a digital pop tester that gives me actual pressure numbers. Turns out three of my last five rebuilds were off by 50-100 psi even though they sounded fine. Now I won't touch an injector without running it on the gauge first. What about you all, do you still go by sound or have you switched to digital testing too?

Same thing with my lawnmower. Trusting your ears misses a lot.

Yeah that "sounds fine" thing gets you every time... my buddy swears by the ear method but I showed him the printout from my digital tester on a set he did and he didn't have much to say after that.
