Put Marvel Mystery Oil in my 7.3 fuel tank on a dare, and the injector tick actually got quieter
My buddy swore by a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel on his 7.3 Powerstroke, so I dumped some in my 2001 F250 with 280k on it expecting nothing, and about 200 miles later the injector rattle at cold start was noticeably softer. Could be coincidence, could be the oil cleaning something up, I honestly can't say for sure and I'm not selling anybody on it. Has anyone else tried this on a 7.3 or 6.0 and actually noticed a difference, or did I just get lucky with timing on a tank of better diesel?

Could just be a good tank of diesel, not the oil.
