Wasted $350 on a reman injector that lasted 60 days
Picked up a reman injector from Midwest Diesel Parts for my 6.0 Ford thinking I'd save over a new one. It started chattering after 2 months and now it's dumping fuel into the oil, ruining my change interval. Should have just gone with a new Bosch unit from the dealer. Anyone else get burned by reman parts lately?

@hugo_craig makes a good point about checking the FICM first.

Are you sure it's the reman's fault and not something else going on with your 6.0? I've run reman injectors from Midwest for years on my '05 and the only time one failed was when I had a bad fuel pressure regulator sending crap through the system. New Bosch units cost triple what you paid and I've seen brand new ones fail just as fast if the oil or fuel quality isn't perfect. You might want to check your FICM voltage and make sure you're running the right oil weight before blaming the injector... Plus a lot of those remans come with a 1 year warranty, so maybe you can get a replacement instead of trashing the whole thing.
