That universal part is always a lie.

Maybe it's not always a lie, just an oversimplification. People tend to speak in absolutes when they're frustrated. Hardly anything is truly universal, but that doesn't make every general statement worthless.

Honestly, learned that lesson the hard way too. Always cross reference the part number online before buying anything labeled universal. Saved me a few headaches since then.
